What better way to get Michigan Lottery players excited about a game than to give them a chance to have their own dog's picture placed on the ticket?

That is exactly what happened, and the Michigan Lottery has now announced the 30 dogs whose precious faces will be adorning the tickets when they debut in June.

The Michigan Lottery Commissioner, Suzanna Shkreli, said:

Collaborating with players — and their lucky dogs — to bring the Lucky Dog game to fruition has been a great experience for everyone at the Michigan Lottery. I recently met some of these wonderful pups and their owners, and seeing the reactions when they were given a replica Lucky Dog ticket featuring their dog was priceless! I expect the game to be a huge hit with players when it launches June 4!

Lucky Dog instant game debut

Now that the pups have been chosen, they can start putting their paw-recious faces on the tickets. The Lucky Dog instant game is scheduled to launch on June 4, 2024.

For the new instant game, each ticket will cost $1 and will give players an opportunity to win prizes ranging from $1 up to the top prize of $5,000. In total, the Lottery is giving out more than $5.5 million in cash prizes for Lucky Dog.

The Michigan Lottery said they would unveil images of the Lucky Dog tickets on their social media channels in the upcoming weeks.
